In Fall 2009 Taylor released a new Limited Edition lineup which featured a Quilted Maple series. This is a model GAce-LTD-M, an acoustic-electric Grand Auditorium model w/a single cutaway construction. Every year Taylor releases a small run of unusually equipped guitars w/stunning woods. This example has a lovely Spruce Top complimented w/an abalone Rosette. Its 3 piece back & side panels are made from some extrordinary Quilted Maple w/fabulous Koa binding on its front & back of its body. Its got a great feeling maple neck w/an ebony fingerboard having no top position markers w/a matching Ebony bridge. It’s also equipped w/its new Expression System 2 acoustic electronics that works flawlessly. Its Gold Gotoh tuners work well & she’s setup beautifully. She’s truly near mint overall & includes its original Taylor Deluxe hardshell case.
