Although Tokai Gakki was founded in 1947, it was a brand new entrant into the electric guitar market in November 1977. However, as a latecomer to the electric guitar market, Tokai Gakki was able to produce instruments with a very high level of perfection because they were able to meet the demands of the market and build the instruments themselves with the help of other manufacturers." In 1984, Tokai was sued by Fender in the United States for selling counterfeit products and lost the case. The irony of this case is that it proves how accurate Tokai's Fender copies were, and they are highly regarded by users in Japan and abroad. The Strat copy model was used by "John Mayor", which further spurred the market to soar. This 1980 ST100 SPRINGY SOUND is the top of the line Stratocaster copy models released at the time, with a V-shaped maple one-piece neck and a luxurious one-piece sen body. The V-shaped maple one-piece neck and luxurious one-piece sen body material are used, and the ultra-thin paint that shows the grain of the wood brings out the best of the material. The fretboard has been replaced at our store, and the sound is rich and full of overtones, with high playability.
