Based on 1937 Hauser guitar with traditional bracing, solid wood back, sides and top including wooden bindings and purflings and a handmade rosette. I have been building this guitar for a long time now. It is the most popular guitar I build having a very developed tone and even sound. I build the guitars by hand using traditional methods and select all the materials for each guitar with a view to achieveing the best tone for each guitar, looking for a wide palette of tone colours and an even balance between the bass and treble. My guitars are lacquered by hand to a very high standard using a specially developed lacquer which can be applied very thinly allowing the guitar to develop over time. It is also possible to order a guitar with either a french polish or an oil varnish finish at additional cost.

For some 25 years I have been building Classical guitars and more recently Jazz and Steel String guitars alongside a career as a consultant and project engineer in the woodworking industry. In 2006 I decided to concentrate on building guitars as my full time career.
I was first attracted to the guitar by its versatile sound and its simple beauty. The guitar's sound is also capable of being extremely aggressive and strong, powerful and passionate or light and tender. My mission is to produce the finestguitars combining the best musicality with pleasing aesthetics, constructed by hand from the highest quality materials.

I build acoustic guitars by hand using the finest quality materials which have aged in my wood store for many years. Mostly I build Nylon string guitars but in recent years have added to the portfolio of products with Acoustic Jazz guitars, and small size Steel String guitars.
I apply the same thought and construction ethos to all my guitars.
I want to achieve an instrument which has a clear, focussed sound with a wide palette of tone colour. My preference is for natural materials and clean lines. I aim for the highest standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
I believe that it is important for the person owning one of my guitars to be able to sense the workmanship and passion that I put into each guitar and to know that each instrument is also as special to me as I hope it is to them.
