Vega (By C.F Martin) / V-244 / 1975 / Mahogany / Guitar
Here just in on trade is a great piece of Martin guitar making history.
Martins' 'Vega' series of guitars were made when they acquired the Egmond Bro's Facility in Netherlands in the early 70's.
These are excellent and underrated guitars, not too far from the USA versions in terms of looks, tone and responsiveness.
So with vintage Martin prices becoming unrealistic, these beauties are certainly worthy contenders!
This is an all solid wood guitar with no cracks, no breaks and no repairs, now it must be said that is rare for a 70's piece!
In overall good, very clean condition with typical and usual weather checking of the nitro lacquer as pictured this is not considered a fault.
We supply this great vintage to you with a fresh neck reset to ensure optimum playability, and so with plenty of adjustment room for the future, it is worth considering that the cost of this service alone in some shops is near to our asking price for this complete guitar and her case!
Ships with a modern hard shell case, professionally packaged for international travel
Enjoy!
