Vivitone / Electric Guitar / 1933 / Sunburst / Guitar For Sale
This is considered to be the earliest of all solid body electric guitars... from 1933... that is 90 years ago. This is a nice complete example and I do not often see one for sale. Lloyd Loar established the Vivitone company after leaving Gibson and began to invent and market this early and important instrument. This one is serial number 220. This instrument was loaned and photographed for "The Pinecaster" book by Ignacio Banos and Lynn Wheelright.
