Each pedal is fully handmade by Vincent Loret in Paris, France.
The Mutant Fuzz is built around 2 different NPN transistors. The Mutant Mode switch to 70’ Tone with buzz and hum tone.
The Mutant Fuzz included the genuine VL-Effects Atk-Ton functionality like other products Bullitt Fuzz, Bullitt Booster, etc. The Atk-Ton functionality is on left position for increase gain, bandwidth and crunch tone (Fat Tone). On right position you disconnect this functionality in order to have clean and compress tone.
(1) BIAS
You can setup the bias of the fuzz.
After 12 o’clock the tone will be clean. Before 12 o’clock you will have
vintage hum and buzz tone. The kind of buzz tone depend of the switch
Mutant Mode (4) and also the setup of ATK-TON (2)
(2) ATK-TON
Turn on left “Atk-Ton” on “Fat Mode” in order to increase gain and overdrive
bandwidth.
Clear and compress mode on right 2 / 4 to 4 / 4

Permet d’augmenter les bas médiums et élargir le spectre sonore en allant
Vers le “Fat” Mode et interaction avec le Gain pour augmenter la distorsion et
rendre le son plus gras. Pour compresser le signal, réglage vers la droite

(4) Switch Mutant Mode
Down : Mutant Mode
The Mutant Mode is the more natural and brigh tone but it’s also the
vintage 70’ mode so with many nazy buzz.
Up : Filter Mode
The Filter Mode clearing the nazy buzz of Mutant Mode. So this filter
change also the natural bright tone
