Each pedal is fully handmade by Vincent Loret in Paris, France. This model is the reissue of first VL-Effects Bullitt Overdrive product in 1985, California. The Bullitt Overdrive included the genuine VL-Effects Atk-Ton functionality like other products Bullitt Fuzz, Bullitt Booster, etc. The Atk-Ton functionality is on left position for increase gain, bandwidth and crunch tone (Fat Tone). On right position you disconnect this functionality in order to have clean and compress tone.
GAIN Control
It’s an overdrive and distorsion pedal. The level of gain increase distorsion.

ATK-TON Control
Turn on left “Atk-Ton” on “Fat Mode” in order to increase gain and overdrive bandwidth.
Clear and compress mode on right 2 / 4 to 4 / 4
Réglage propre aux effets VL-Effects. Réglage inversé allant de la droite vers la gauche
« Fat » mode étant le plus « gras ».
Permet d’augmenter les bas médium et élargir le spectre sonore en allant vers le
“Fat” Mode et interaction avec le Gain pour augmenter la distorsion et rendre le son plus
gras. Pour compresser le signal, réglage vers la droite
LEVEL or Volume Control Output level and tone setup. Regular setup 2/5, 3/5. 4/5
Réglage du niveau de sortie.
PRESENCE Control Very important setup who modify tone and level of
overdrive/distorsion. Must be set up with ATK-Ton and Gain.
Réglage important, interactiont sur la tonalité et le le grain de distorsion.
A régler conjointement avec l’Atk-Ton et le gain pour trouver le type de distorsion souhaité.
Switch Mode “ ^ ”
This mode is the « High Contour ». It’s an heavy level and high distorsion setup who
bring Maximum of high.
Switch Mode “ - ”
This mode is the « Medium Contour ». It’s the regular level and cream tone.

Vincent attended a renowned Parisian electronics engineering (university) school at the end of 70's and created his first VL Effects pedals in 1982 - the Germanium Treble booster and the Fuzz Face Bullitt Booster.

Vincent works using old unique style wiring techniques ie: different kinds of cable specifications for ground cabling, hot cabling, power cabling, in order to reduce noise and increase tone and harmonics....
