We've been incredibly lucky to have some marvellous acoustic guitars pass through our shop from Martin & Gibson to less known Lowden, Collings and Santa Cruz guitars, and often completely unknown but very noble brands like Mcilroy, Olson, Ryan, Rozawood and for instant this Febo Waanders - who happens to live - figural speaking - just around the corner. Febo Waanders is an intriguing maker, who makes guitars in the best Ryan & Olson tradition. This guitar is made in 2011 and was previously owned and extensively used for two years by the famous Dutch singer songwriter Erwin Nyhoff. We asked Febo to overhaul the guitar for us and change the Cocobolo back for a new one, since the previous one was badly damaged. The guitar is now back in Excellent to Near mint condition with a stunning looking bookmatched cocobolo back matching the sides.
Febo's guitars are masterpieces of craftsmanship, and made from the finest tone-wood, including beautifully bookmatched and impressively grained cocobolo body, perfectly grained Adirondack spruce top, mahogany neck with Ebony fingerboard and bridge. Tonally this guitar is no less than Impressive and indeed different. With a Deep rounded bass response, matching rounded mids, beautiful balanced trebles. There is a incomparable softness and warmth in the overall response, and a deepness in the bass response that puts this guitar and Waanders guitars in general in the same school as for instant Ryan & Olson guitars are in. The GA features 404mm (15 7/8") body width at the lower bout, and a body depth at the end pin block of 122mm (4 3/4"). Other measurements: 45.5mm (1 15/32") width at the nut, 645mm (25.4") Scale, 56mm ( 2 3/16") Fingerspacing at the bridge. Other features include ebony fingerboard with Dot and Diamond abalone inlays, Matching bookmatched cocobolo faceplate with matching cocobolo back of the head overlay, Locking tuners with ebony knobs, ebony bridge, bone nut and compensated Saddle. The guitar comes with a Hiscox deluxe Case.

The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood.
