Dieser Warwick Corvette Proline 4 wurde 1996 gefertigt und stammt somit noch aus deutscher Produktion. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist auf Warwick-typisch hohem Niveau und grenzt sich deutlich von dem ab, was derzeit aus China unter dem Namen Rockbass vertrieben wird. Auch bei den restlichen Zutaten hat sich Warwick nicht lumpen lassen. Der zweiteilige, leicht geflammte Ahornkorpus und der 5-teilige Ahorn/ Wenge-Hals sind absolute Hingucker.
Der Warwick ist aufgrund der aktiven MEC-Pickups und des 2-Band-Equalizers gewohnt vielseitig und überzeugt durch die Kombination aus Ahornhals und Ahornkorpus mit seinem knurrigen und trockenen Sound auf voller Linie.
Der Zustand ist sehr gut, sieht man von den deutlichen Gebrauchsspuren am Korpus ab. Dort sind etliche Macken und Dellen vorhanden, die jedoch weder die Bespielbarkeit noch den Klang beeinflussen. Der Hals dagegen ist absolut mackenfrei und lässt sich sehr gut bespielen. Die Bünde sind ebenfalls sehr gut erhalten und zeigen nur in den untern Lagen gerinste Spielspuren.
Im Lieferumfang ist neben den Warwick Security Locks ein Koffer unbekannter Marke enthalten. Auch dieser hat einige Gebrauchsspuren, funktioniert jedoch tadellos.
