1977 Yairi DY-85 - Natural incl. hardshell case
One of the finest acoustic guitars ever, handmade by Kazuo Yairi and his team in Japan. Craftmanship,materials and sound on that fine guitar are just stunning! The DY-85 has a lot features of a classic Martin guitar, the beautiful abalone artwork and fretboard inlays are similar to a Martin D-41. The instrument features a solid spruce top, and a 3-piece back similar to a Martin D-35. Sides and the two outer pieces of the back are made of beautiful highly burled maple, the inner back piece is made of rosewood. Ebony fretboard, and gold-plated Grover tuners. The medium sized neck is easy to play, the guitar sounds and looks amazing, The high-end Yairi instruments are highly sought after and hard to find. This example is in excellent condition and comes in a black hardshell case with red lining.
