Yamaha / L25AT Brazilian Sitka Spruce / 1981 / Guitar

The Yamaha L-25AT borrows its design from the famous dreadnought with a three-piece Brazilian rosewood back. Before Yamaha was primarily known for its run of the mill instruments, they made beautiful hand-made instrument that had to compete with Western brands such as Martins. Yamaha used the most regarded type of wood for the L-25AT, which is Brazilian Rosewood with an astonishing pattern. It is combined with a Sitka spruce top. The L-25AT was therefore the top of the line in the brand's series from 1981. The 3-piece rosewood dread's are known for their typical deep, but balanced, low end, dark and rich tone and a lot of definition in the highs.  This Yamaha L-25AT is in good condition. There are three repaired cracks in the top. The beautiful Brazilian roseswood three-piece back has one little repaired crack in the center piece, but that's it. The top features a couple of light dings and scuff marks in the top, and a little playwear on the pickguard. The sides are really clean, except for a rash on the bottom of the right side. This Yamaha L-25-AT has had a neck reset, of which there are traces around the neck pocket. The neck has some general signs of use. This Yamaha even has its original case, which is in really good shape.  Specifications Body Shape: Dreadnought Finish: Natural Body Material: Solid Brazilian Rosewood Top Material: Solid Engelmann Spruce Lefty No Body Details: Creme binding, intricate inlaid top trim, rosette and back strip, black pickguard. ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
