Yamaha is proud of the original shape, and is also called Samurai Base overseas. Yamaha SBV-500
The bass with this unique shape is based on the legendary electric guitar, Blue Jeans Custom, and SG-7, which was produced by Mr. Terauchi Takeshi and many advice, and released in 1967. It is a reprint model of SB-7. As it is revived and released in modern times, it has been sublimated to a structure that does not feel frustrated. Even now, many bassists such as the original SUPERCAR "Furukawa Miki" and Polysics "Fumi" use the same model series. It is a base that is evaluated by a wide range of people, regardless of age or gender.
In the Rock's home, in the United Kingdom, this shape resembles a sword, so it is called a Samurai bass and is a popular base. This SVB-500 is equipped with a good-looking rosewood finger plate with a good-looking alder body with sound, and has two 8-pole pieces single pickups that can make a wide range of sounds, and based on the 60s fender, jazz bass.
