Yamaha (japan) / SBG-1000 / 1982 / Curacao Blue Metallic / Guitar

This is a very cool Top Line Yamaha SBG-1000 that was put on the map by none other than Carlos Santana. Carlos when famous in the mid-70's played an early SG-2000 model in Black. This happens to be something we've not seen before...maybe special ordered in this ultra cool "M & M" Bright "Curacao" Blue Metallic finish highlighted by its combo of Gold & Chrome hardware. Its set-neck body design has a bound top w/a bound Rosewood fingerboard w/their signature "Split Wing" inlays. Its mahogany construction sounds excellent. It has a pair of super powerful Humbucking pickups w/very inventive electronics that work quite well. Its Grover type Yami tuners & adjustable bridge work perfectly. Its missing its original pickgard & has a pair of metal jewels stuck on over the 2 screw holes...easily removable. This is all original  & super clean overall. Truly Exceptionally clean & comes in a nice padded Gig Bag.
