Here is your chance to own a piece of history from the British Invasion!!!! A very unique double volume pedal specially made for CHAD & JEREMY for their 1964-65 US tours. Pedal could control volume or it could control the amount of an effect, such as reverb or tremolo. This very rare pedal was made by The Canon Guild Inc. of Cambridge, Massachusetts. It is listed as Model: CW - 8 - S and has a serial number of 3009. I highly doubt that there were a lot of these made and I would find it very surprising if any exist today.
I can't say if it works or not. I can say that it looks as if it were made to be on the road. It is in an extremely heavy-gauged chassis and all the electronics look "bulletproof". Look at the pictures for further info about its condition. It obviously has some road wear and there is some light rust on the chrome frames of the pedals themselves, but all in all, it's in pretty good condition given it's 60+ years old!!!
From 1964 to 1966, Chad And Jeremy topped the charts with seven Top 40 hits in the US, including "Yesterday's Gone" (#21) and "A Summer Song" (#7). They appeared on the "Batman" TV series Batman and the Dick Van Dyke Show, as well as The Patty Duke Show. They also appeared on The Tonight Show, Shindig, Hullabaloo, Hollywood Palace, the Andy Williams Show and Danny Kaye Show.
This is a piece of history and once it sells, there aren't any more!!!!
