The Fender American Vintage Series guitars are highly regarded by enthusiasts as the best reissues to hit the market.
These were So close to the originals that the Fender custom shop guitars took a hit as everyone started buying the American vintage series over the custom shop models.
This Strat is a 2012 model of the first run and modelled on an original 1965 Fender Stratocaster which Fender recently had for sale.
This one is used but not abused.
Slight buckle rash on the back & a few minor bumps & scratches but nothing that detracts from this stunning guitar.
Even the Nitro lacquer has started to check nicely just like an original vintage 1960s strat.
Comes with all the case candy including the leather Fender Strap - Grey Lead - Bridge Tray cover - Back Plate cover & screws - Tremolo Arm - Spare 3 Way Selector Switch Etc.
Also vintage reissue catalogue booklet & handbags.
It's all there from when it left the factory.
This has been pro set up & the 7.25" Radius is a dream to play.
All the frets are nicely polished & there is no string choke which a lot of people seem to confuse with a 7.25" radius... As long as the fret work is done correctly & the guitar has been set up right you wont get string / fret choking.
Comes with its Original 65 Fender Hard Case.
