This bass has the rare slim taper 41mm Nut which was issued for a short time between 1972-73 just like "foo fighters" bassist Nate Mendels original 1972 P bass.
Sporting a traditional 3-tone sunburst finish.
All original body & neck / Fender Tuners / Original Tortoiseshell pickguard with original pickups & wiring throughout.
Minor touch up where someone has fitted a thumb rest above the pickguard which doesn't detract from this fabulous bass but means it's at a reduced price!! WIN WIN!!
One small extra hole in the pickguard where the thumb rest was fitted which could be use again if you prefer it at the top.
A fairly light bass at 3.95kg that plays and sounds great!
Comes with its original hardshell case which has seen better days but still does the job of protecting the bass & has the original latches & Fender logo - one latch spring has gone but this still locks in place.
So a great opportunity to acquire an original 1973 Precision Bass at a reduced price.
