The Telecaster Custom was launched in the early seventies and is the best original Telecaster model made by Fender after the fifties. No doubt. You may ask Keith Richards…it is the is the model he mostly used in the 70s. It has a Fender reinterpretation of an humbucker in the neck position and a normal tele single coil in the bridge position, and this makes it the most versatile blues and rock’n roll guitar you may find anywhere.
