For sale is this 1974/75 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Cherry Sunburst. In great condition.
All original guitar. Including, electronics, original tuners, original "fretless wonder" frets etc. Not the original Gibson case.
Some wear and "worming" from belt buckles on back. Sandwich body. 3-piece Mahogany neck with a fantastic ebony fingerboard.
- The serial number says only 1974/75 and it does not come nearer.
- Potentiometers are dated week 21, 1974.
- Pickups are "patent no" sticker (and not stamp as they went over to in 1975).
- Serial Number format is also the "old" and not what they went over to use in the beginning of 1975.
- It is exactly the same as the 20th anniversary model they made in 1974, just without the inlay which was on the 15th band on the anniversary models.
