Up for your consideration is this cool and all original 1976 Gibson Thunderbird IV Bi-centennial Bass for sale. Ships in pro flightcase.
The Bass was brought from USA by U2. The Edge is brother to Dik Evans of The Virgin Prunes. The Bass was passed on to them. The Prunes were friends with a band called The Golden Horde. So again the bass was passed to John Connor (bass player). John didn’t like how the T-Bird dived when he was playing it. It was then swapped for an Earnie Ball Stingray.
The bass is featured in the video. Yes that bass!
