| ...but Blues and Fusion too. Totally inspired to the Fender Esprit, Robben Ford Signature version. Sapele mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, bone nut. I used the classic Gibson scale. The neck is achieved by adopting the scarf-joint attachment for the headstock. The wiring is the original Fender Robben Ford which, however, I added a second switch for split the two humbucker separately (on the original model we find only one). The tone controls are two Fender TBX. The body is completely empty, as the 335 style, so we have both the bottom and the top internally and externally carved. The pickups are a Seymour Duncan '59 in the neck and a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge, just like the original Fender model. The bridge is a Schaller 456 Satin with fine adjustment of tuning. |
