This wonderful 52 year old d28 sings like a bird. Its been lovingly cared for by its current owner who has had it since 1980. Lovely low action and gra rich developed harmonic tone make this beauty a players dream.
It has some light cracking on the Sika spruce top which was there when purchased in 1980 and it is strong and stable with a great patina that only a true vintage guitar can exhibit.
This beauty was manufactued in early 1970 and many people have commented that the Rosewood has the appearance of Brazilian Rosewood rather than Indian. This was the transition year and many Martins produced in 1970 were made with left over Brazilian Rosewoid but we cant claim the timbers origin one way or the other.
