Beautiful example of early 60s Martin D-18.
She has that mellow, bassy, woody, deep sound you can only find in pre- 1965 Martins. It’s a cannon.
•Very good shape, apart from obvious dings and varnish checkings, only meaning that the guitar has been played. And once you will have tried it, you will understand why. Two superficial cracks (not through the wood!) under the pickguard, a common feature of Martins of this age.
•All original, apart from the pickguard (the new is a Martin quality one).
•It experienced a bridge reset (with the original bridge) some time ago. No need of neck reset for long time. Neck is straight as an arrow.
•Comes with what is presumably the original hardshell case, in excellent condition (no Martin branded hardshell cases at that time).
