The Granada luthier Rene Baarslag, born in Heerlen, Holland in 1948, came to Granada to study flamenco, and became interested in Granada's guitar making scene. He apprenticed with Antonio Marin Montero, and also spent some time in Normandy working with Robert Bouchet.
This exceptional guitar sounds as beautiful as it looks. It has a transparent tone with a great deal of projection and punch. There has been great consideration for design as well.
